the grave of famous indian warrior red cloud is neatly tucked away behind elitist indian red cloud high school in pine ridge, south dakota. despite all his battles he outlived many other indian leaders to die in 1909 in the pine ridge indian reservation. his wife mary, buried to his right, got a more modest grave resembling the ones of other indians.
