considering that schmidt's restaurant appears to be one of the german village figureheads, this is what u.s. americans consider the perfect german meal: bratwursts of different kind (thank god german food is meat-based!) red cabbage kraut, sauerkraut, german potatoe salad (rather know as specksalat in Germany), green beans, and a roll. the only disturbing elements on the so called autobahn buffet was the mac&cheese and the typo in hofbraühaus.
