book lover’s paradise: the book loft on third street features 32 rooms including a picturesque cobble stone backyard with fountain, benches, and book tables. in the store that welcomes guests with german and u.s. american flags you can even find advent calendars.

on our way to popular schiller park located south in german village we saw many unusual mail boxes. this one was our favorite.

hard to be found in the united states are people who know goethe and schiller. german village inhabitants not only know the latter but honor him with a statue. in front of friedrich an american hobby-philosopher and a german historian discuss the world.
