After a rather heated debate I shouldn't hesitate to admit that proof exists that Roman numbers can be twisted to some extend for different reasons. However, discussion with a bend-the-rule-supporter didn't bend my opinion. I'd rather stick with the original rule of not having four symbols of the same sort in a row...
